Derwood Doubles League     Well the season ended up with 8 teams showing up for playoffs.  It was a hard fought 3 rounds of playoffs but in the end Chris and Scott beat an exhausted Mike and Linda for the CHAMPIONSHIP. Tied for 3rd was Dee and Steve and Sung Ki and Troy. Thanks to all who played and thanks to a good season.   STAY TUNED FOR TOURNAMENT INFORMATION     Next season begins:  May 17, 2016 for practice and pickup Actual league play begins June 21, 2016. Where: Dee & Bob’s House 13204 Lantern Hollow Dr., North Potomac, MD 20878 Matches begin at 6:00pm.   Cost is $18 per person which is only to reimburse Dee and bob for sodas, beer and water every week.  Disclaimer: The money in no way should be view as a cost to play or a charge but only as a reimbursement.  This is a fun league not a for profit venture, it is only a way for our friends to play and see how they are against each other. Teams consist of two, three or four (for lower level players) players of any level or sex. Teams will be ranked and given handicaps based on level and ability. My friends wanted to play against each other even if it was two men against two women.  Also they can not always make every match.  This league is very informal.
